Files never leave your browser

How it works

Three steps. No server.

Everything below the fold is just the same story: your file, your browser, your download.

01
Drop the file
PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP. We read it locally with the File API - nothing is uploaded.
02
Pick a target
Choose a target based on the original file size, or enter a custom one. We adjust quality and dimensions until it fits.
03
Download & go
Save the smaller file. Close the tab and every trace is gone. We don't even know you were here.

Under the hood: Canvas API decodes images and renders PDF pages, WebAssembly encoders (mozjpeg, libwebp, oxipng) compress the output, PDF.js parses PDFs client-side, zero network requests during compression.

Private by design

Your file never leaves your device.

  • Canvas API and WebAssembly process your file on-device
  • Zero bytes uploaded: no server receives your document
  • No account, no email, no registration required
  • Files stay in memory and are cleared when you close the tab
  • Works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
  • Your original file is never modified or overwritten
FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

We'd rather tell you when a file can't be compressed than pretend our tool is magic.

Correct. Compression runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API, WebAssembly encoders (mozjpeg, libwebp), and PDF.js. Your file's bytes never reach our server — we do not run one to receive them.
